REMEMBERING CHRISTINE WITH ALL OF OUR LOVE♥️

The Board of Directors, Staff, and Friends of Square One Community Inc. are mourning the loss of one of our Directors, dear Christine Boyczuk, whose untimely passing has saddened and shocked us and our community. Christine was one of the Founding Members of Square One Community and we will be forever grateful for the leadership, guidance, and mentorship she displayed while working to build this organization. Though diminutive in physical size, Christine’s presence and her heart were HUGE. She was very responsive to community member needs and recognized the plight of individuals who faced housing insecurity. 
Many in the community will join us in grieving the loss of Christine, as she had numerous connections in the community through service clubs, her faith community and organizations.  A recipient of numerous community and provincial awards, including 2018 Citizen of the Year, Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee medal (2002), Saskatchewan Centennial Medal (2005), the Business Women of Moose Jaw  2016 PRISM Lifetime Achievement, Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal (2019)and more. She was an amazing role model and friend. 💐💖🌸 .Christine is well-known and respected for her contributions and gift for mobilizing community. Though all her accomplishments and awards, Christine remained very humble and would consistently give credit to the teams and others with whom she worked. 
Christine led through example and her demonstration of citizenship and service to others. Her love for children and her heart for vulnerable groups was evident in her work and life.
Our hearts and thoughts are with Christine’s family and many friends during this difficult time. 

She has left a tremendous legacy in the Moose Jaw community and we will all share in the loss of an exceptional light in this world.
