Welcome to the 5th Annual Empty Bowls 2026 event, hosted by Square One Community Inc. in Moose Jaw! This annual gathering is more than just a meal; it's an opportunity to make a difference in our community.

Join us on Friday, November 13th, 2026, at Zion United Church Lower Hall for a heartwarming experience that's all about compassion, community, and ending homelessness in Moose Jaw

“74 participants in Square One Community’s Supportive Housing Program now have a safe place to call home after escaping chronic homelessness. Combined with the 18 children reunited in now intact families, and the 9 graduates this year so far, 101 people’s lives have been changed by the wrap-around Supportive Housing services you made possible at Square One! This lifesaving program is fueled by your support, and all of this was possible because of the deep compassion this community shows in supporting a second chance to those in desperate need. With 70 community members on the waitlist, it gives me great encouragement knowing we have your support in being a lifeline to those in need before the winter.”

How to Purchase Tickets:

Getting your tickets for Empty Bowls 2026 is easy!

Option 1: Purchase your tickets for $25.00 in cash at the door on the day of the event. We'd love to welcome you in person.

Option 2: Buy your tickets ahead of time by emailing us at communitysquareone@gmail.com. Please include your name, phone number, and the number of Empty Bowls tickets you would like to purchase in your email.

We accept E-transfer to communitysquareone@gmail.com. In the transfer section please include your name, phone number and the number of Empty Bowls tickets you require.

Every ticket purchase contributes to Square One Community Centre's mission of providing essential support to those experiencing housing insecurity.

What is Empty Bowls?

Empty Bowls is a unique event with a dual purpose: to raise funds and to create awareness about poverty, hunger, and homelessness in our community. At the core of this event is a simple yet powerful concept: guests choose a bowl donated by various local organizations and fill it with delicious soup prepared by local Chefs. They then sit down among friends and neighbors, enjoy their meal, and learn about how their contribution is making a positive impact on the lives of unhoused individuals in our community. The best part? Guests get to keep their chosen bowls, often treasured as collectors' items.

Why is Empty Bowls Important?

The funds raised during this event will directly support Square One Community Centre's mission to provide a safe and supportive space for those struggling with housing, addictions, and more. With your support, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need in Moose Jaw.
