The “Stronger Together” Campaign is an initiative inspired by local metal artists Bill and Laurette Keen, in partnership with Square One Community Inc. Their objective is to raise funds to give help, hope, and heart through wrap-around services to those struggling with

mental health issues who are housing insecure. In the spirit of being “Stronger Together”, it is the hope that these folks can achieve meaningful independence.

On behalf of Square One Community Inc., we want to thank Bill and Laurette Keen for their passion for our community and many hours of work to successfully reach this objective. Prior to May 2023, more than $35,000 dollars was raised and went to the John Howard Society “My Place” Program to help the individuals they serve who were struggling. In May, 2023, Square One Community achieved Charitable Status and since that time, the Stronger Together Campaign funds have been directed to Square One Community. We are thrilled to say that…

…helping us “rise even higher”.

Circle Medical Centre (Dr. Brabant) in conjunction with Square One

Community Inc. (Della Ferguson Fundraising Chair) and Bill and Laurette Keen (metal artists), invite you to sponsor bronze leaves for $100, silver leaves for $200, or gold leaves for $300 on these ladders. Funds raised through this initiative will support community projects addressing mental health, homelessness, and the proposed establishment of a Supportive Housing Hub initiative in Moose Jaw.

WE ARE TURNING OVER A NEW LEAF

IN THE

SQUARE ONE COMMUNITY

STRONGER TOGETHER INITIATIVE

That's right! We are turning over a new leaf! Thanks to Dr. Brabant of Circle Medical Centre and Bill and Laurette Keen, local Metal Artists, our Stronger Together Initiative has entered a third phase where we can welcome a new wave of leaves for sponsorship! Circle Medical Centre LOVE housing the Stronger Together metal art tree because it stands for everything they believe in AND because they are partners in the Supportive Housing Program with Square One Community. Bill and Laurette's creative and generous hearts found a new way to add leaves to grow the program that has already raised over 52,000.00 ($35000 in its early year went to John Howard Society and since then, $17,000 for Square One Community. What an INCREDIBLE help this fundraiser is for our Supportive Housing Program that is currently serving 74 clients! And WHAT A MESSAGE OF COMMUNITY COLLABORATION! We truly are STRONGER TOGETHER.

And so....we are welcoming new leaf sponsorship....here's how...

All donations for the Stronger Together campaign will go towards Square One Community and our mission of ensuring that everyone has access to safe, affordable, and secure housing with their basic needs met. All sponsorships are eligible for tax receipts.

Ladder Leaves can be sponsored in your own name, in the name of your business or organization, or in memory of a Loved One.

To sponsor a Leaf to be placed on a ladder rung, please follow these three (3) steps:

STEP 1: Decide on the sponsorship level of your choice:

100.00 - Bronze Leaf
200.00 - Silver Leaf

300.00 - Gold Leaf

STEP 2: Make payments through the following options:

In the message section of the transfer, please type "Stronger Together" and include your full name, physical address and email address for tax receipt purposes.
